Shared Brand DNA
Piet Boon® for Land Rover
Durable and timeless are features that not only are the hallmark of Land Rover, but also of the work of Piet Boon®. The special collaboration between Land Rover and Piet Boon® started in 2006. Since then we have designed multiple extraordinary versions of the four wheel drive. The latest 'one-of' designs is the Last Defender by Piet Boon and therewith a tribute to an icon. The Last Defender will be on display in the showroom of the Studio Piet Boon Headquarters in Oostzaan until the end of 2016.
Land Rover is more than sixty years the key to groundbreaking adventure and technology. The first Land Rover was developed from a purely functional concept: a powerful vehicle that can drive through any terrain, a name that stands for the best 4x4-technique in every situation. Now, more than sixty years later, a lot has changed. With models like Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery 4 and Freelander 2 is Land Rover’s the most modern and innovative SUV brand of the 21st century and always remained true to its origins. Any type of Land Rover is also undefeated leader in its segment when it comes to off-road characteristics. And on the paved road is a Land Rover no longer inferior to a comfortable, luxury or sports car.
