Piet Boon® wallpaper by NLXL
After the success of the Concrete Wallpaper collection, we proudly introduce our second collection: Washi Wallpaper.
Washi, meaning Japanese paper, is traditional handmade paper of which its rich history dates back to 610 AD. Though the paper nowadays enjoys a contemporary following used for different purposes, it still holds the same characteristics of strength, durability, lightness, warmth and flexibility as the traditional version. Impressed by the paper’ characteristics, versatility and beauty, Studio Piet Boon used it as an inspiration for the new Piet Boon® Wallpaper design: a modern interpretation of Japanese Washi paper.
One of the strong features of this NLXL LAB Washi Wallpaper by Piet Boon® is that it will be available in roll format and one specifically for project industry.
NLXL is an award winning specialist in wallpaper. Known for their special designer collaborations, NLXL has teamed up with Piet Hein Eek, Paris based concept store Merci, Arthur Schlenk, Studio Job and Piet Boon®. The collections are available at more than 3000 resellers across the globe.
